Seth Rollins' huge potential WWE return date after he was injured following vicious attack
Seth Rollins may be finally about to return to WWE. Fans worrying about when the star will be back in the company potentially have an answer now.
Seth Rollins has been out of action for most of the year. Heading into WrestleMania, he suffered an injury that prevented him from being 100%. However, he was still heavily involved at the event, wrestling in two different matches and even taking part in the ending of Cody Rhodes' match against Roman Reigns. After that, he took some time away to recover from his injuries.
Heading into SummerSlam, he returned, but instead of taking part in the match against CM Punk that he wanted, he was the Special Guest Referee for his match against McIntyre. Unfortunately, soon after that, he was destroyed by Bronson Reed in an unprovoked attack, suffering "internal bleeding" and bruised ribs. This led to him taking more time off.
Now, a date for a potential WWE return has been revealed, with the star now being officially advertised for Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. This is being called a potential return date, as he could still return before then, but it's not confirmed.
This is the first official acknowledgment that Rollins will return to WWE by at least December 14. What his involvement will be at the event remains to be seen.
Seth Rollins is not the only one advertised on the show poster
WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event used to be a regular big show for WWE back in the day. Now that they are returning, how the company uses it remains to be seen. It is set to air quarterly on NBC and Peacock as part of their new five-year domestic media deal.
Seth Rollins is not the only top star advertised for the show; Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, and Liv Morgan are also featured on the poster now.
