Seth Rollins provides an update on Becky Lynch's current status after leaving WWE
Seth Rollins shared an update on Becky Lynch's future after The Man seemingly did not sign a new deal with WWE. Lynch is currently a free agent and is enjoying her time away from professional wrestling.
The Man last appeared on WWE television last May 27 when she failed to recapture the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage Match on RAW. Her contract officially expired on June 1 and she became a free agent.
On the Countdown to Money in the Bank pre-show, Michael Cole asked Rollins for an update about Lynch's future. For those still unaware, Rollins and Lynch are married in real life and have a daughter named Roux born in December 2020.
Here's what The Visionary said about his wife's current status and future in wrestling:
"The Man's great. She's great. I can't speak to her future or what she's got moving forward, but she's great, she's in good spirits, and the little one's awesome as well. She's three-and-a-half, and she's a menace. She runs the ship." [H/T: Fightful]
There's been plenty of speculation about Becky Lynch's future. Some people expect her to return to WWE when her hiatus ends, while others are speculating about a move to AEW after she got name-dropped at Forbidden Door's post-media show.
Becky Lynch once expressed her desire to work in Hollywood
In an interview on the Casual Podcast with Brad Tate back in January, Becky Lynch expressed her desire to make a transition to Hollywood. Lynch already has several credits under her name, but she would like to explore acting and writing more.
"I suppose, writing books and performance is something that I've always loved. I've studied it, I've got my degree in acting. I don't know if you saw a little role that I played as Cyndi Lauper, but acting is something that I've loved for a long time and it's something I've studied and got my degree in. That is something I’d like to pursue. Also, writing is very much something that I love and there could be something there, too. Only time will tell," Lynch said. [H/T: Fightful]
In addition to being a best-selling author, Lynch has also appeared in the film The Marine 6: Close Quarters, and the TV shows Billions and Young Rock. She also reportedly had a post-credit role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Eternals, but her scene was deleted.
