Seth Rollins to return to face WWE star at WrestleMania 41, analyst says; who holds a 22-0 record against him
Seth Rollins has defeated almost everyone over the course of his WWE run, but there's one man who has outwitted him on every occasion. His name is Cody Rhodes. Recently, wrestling analyst Sam Roberts stated that Rollins could face Rhodes when he return.
The two stalwarts have a rich history that dates back to 2010. Rollins has since faced Rhodes in 22 singles matches and has lost all of them. The American Nightmare reignited his old feud with The Visionary when he returned to WWE after a six-year absence at WrestleMania 38.
The two men were involved in a trilogy, culminating with Cody Rhodes defeating Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match in 2022. Despite their rivalry, the two men joined forces earlier this year to fight The Bloodline. Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts discussed the idea of Rollins coming back to challenge Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
"At some point, he [Seth Rollins] and Cody Rhodes are gonna cross paths again. And Cody's gonna thank him. Cody's gonna say, 'You are a man of your word. You were my shield.' And Seth’s gonna say,' Yes, I was. But there is something I'd like in return. A shot at that.'"
The former WWE personality continued:
"Now I know what you're thinking. If Cody Rhodes is still champion come WrestleMania next year, what if Seth Rollins wins the Royal Rumble? And now the WrestleMania Main Event is Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes, building a story from last year," Roberts said. [From 19:17 to 20:04]

What's next for Seth Rollins in WWE?
Seth "Freakin" Rollins has been out of action since losing his World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre on Night Two of WrestleMania XL.
The Architect recently underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus that he suffered earlier this year. As of this writing, there's no timeline for his in-ring return. Amid his absence, Rollins was spotted sporting a new look, where he could be seen beardless and in a new hairstyle.
Rollins was penciled in to face CM Punk at The Showcase of The Immortals this year. But The Straight Edge Superstar tore his triceps at Royal Rumble, which scrapped the plans.
Will WWE revisit the feud for next year's WrestleMania in Las Vegas? Only time will tell.
