Seth Rollins returns to RAW after 2 months; huge return match set up for Money in the Bank 2024 after confrontation
Seth Rollins has officially returned to Monday Night RAW for the first time since WrestleMania 40. In his first segment back, he was confronted by another star - leading to his big Premium Live Event match at Money in the Bank.
Seth Rollins got a huge pop in Corpus Christi, TX, as he made his first appearance since losing his World Heavyweight Championship at 'Mania 40. The man who beat him, Drew McIntyre, also happened to lose within five minutes at WrestleMania to none other than Damian Priest, who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
While The Visionary first stated his intention to climb the ladder in Toronto to win the Money in the Bank briefcase, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest confronted him and expressed his desire to legitimize his Championship reign even further. As a result, he granted Seth Rollins a World Championship match at Money in the Bank 2024.
Rollins was highly suspicious about how direct everything was, even expecting a Judgment Day blindside attack - something Priest assured him wasn't happening.
The Archer of Infamy said early on in the promo that he wanted to cash in on Rollins out of respect for him and not Drew McIntyre. However, El Campeon granted him a shot anyway and made it clear that it's no longer Monday Night Rollins.
Damian Priest has exceeded all expectations as World Heavyweight Champion. It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks leading up to the PLE.
