Seth Rollins rushed to the hospital after suddenly coughing up blood; update after appearance on WWE RAW
Seth Rollins was left coughing up blood and seriously hurt on RAW. He was rushed to the hospital immediately after.
Rollins played a major part at WWE SummerSlam, where he was the special guest referee for Drew McIntyre's grudge match against CM Punk. He also wanted to get his hands on Punk, but he'd have to wait for McIntyre to do it first before he could get a shot at him. That was why he came out on WWE RAW this week, hoping to finally get his turn. Unfortunately, Seth would have to wait as Bronson Reed suddenly attacked him.
Seth Rollins tried to fight back but was utterly destroyed. The six splashes from the top rope took their toll as he was not only unable to move but also severely hurt. The medical personnel and officials had gotten in the ring to stop Reed from harming him further, but they had to get out of the way when he came flying down from the top rope back onto the star.
By the fourth one, Seth Rollins was coughing up blood, but Reed still hit him with two more, leaving him motionless. He had to be taken away by the doctors.
Backstage, Adam Pearce spoke to Jackie Redmond about what happened to Rollins. He gave an update saying that he was being rushed to the hospital, and the doctors were worried about the potential for internal bleeding.
"He will be going to the hospital. Our training staff is worried about the potential for internal bleeding," the RAW General Manager said.
Further updates are expected from WWE's side on the matter.
