Seth Rollins shares three-word message following 'attack' at NFL game
WWE Superstar Seth Rollins shared a three-word message after being 'attacked' at an NFL game today. The Visionary has not returned to RAW since he was attacked by Bronson Reed on August 5 edition of the red brand.
Rollins appeared at Lucas Oil Stadium today to watch Chicago Bears battle the Indianapolis Colts. During the game, former Colts wide receiver TY Hilton humorously dumped the former World Heavyweight Champion over the barricade and onto the field below. The former World Heavyweight Champion is a fan of the Bears, who lost to the Colts today 21-16. The 38-year-old took to social media following the incident and shared a three-word message.
"I. Hate. Football," he wrote.
Seth Rollins has not competed in a match since his loss to Damian Priest at WWE Money in the Bank earlier this year. He served as the Special Guest Referee for the match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam last month.
Former WWE writer claims he doesn't know what Seth Rollins' character is
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently stated that he does not understand what Seth Rollins' character is supposed to be on RAW.
Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship last year at Night of Champions by defeating AJ Styles. The RAW star had an impressive reign with the title, before dropping it to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show earlier this year, Russo wondered what Rollins' character was supposed to be on the red brand. The legend noted that fans sing Rollins' theme song, but he doesn't understand what his gimmick is.
"He comes out, they're singing the song and I'm asking myself this while I'm watching the television. And I'm still asking myself this question, 'What is Seth Rollins' character?' I still don't know what his (...) I know they sing to his song. I don't know what his character is, bro," Russo said.
Bronson Reed has since moved on to other targets following his heinous attack on Rollins last month on RAW. The big man is currently involved in a rivalry with Braun Strowman on the red brand. It will be interesting to see when The Visionary makes his return to WWE television in the weeks ahead.
