Seth Rollins spotted for the first time following brutal assault on WWE RAW

Seth Rollins was brutally assaulted by Bronson Reed on WWE RAW a few weeks ago and has since been sidelined from competition. It was announced by Adam Pearce on RAW last week that Rollins suffered broken ribs and internal bleeding after he was hit with six Tsunamis as WWE officials scrambled to stop the 330lb star.

Rollins is reportedly struggling with real-life injuries which were the reason for the assault and could now be on hiatus for several weeks. It seems that The Visionary is back in the gym since his training school recently shared a picture of Rollins working out.

Rollins appears to be healed enough to head back to the gym and it could be a sign that the former World Champion's injuries are much less severe than first thought.

Rollins was able to return to the ring just weeks after knee surgery earlier this year and could return in the coming weeks to set up a match with Reed at Bash in Berlin on August 31st.

Could Seth Rollins return to the ring ahead of Bash in Berlin?

It's always difficult to judge with WWE Superstars because sometimes the prognosis can be longer than expected. Some stars take much longer to recover and others like John Cena have been able to heal in record time.

Seth Rollins appears to be able to heal quickly, but he is struggling with some niggling long-term effects of the business. The former world champion has spent more than a decade on the main roster spending a significant amount of time on the road and putting his body on the line regularly.

Rollins is still considered to be one of the biggest stars in WWE and his feud with CM Punk is expected to be huge, but he needs time to recover before he throws himself back into a major rivalry.
