Seth Rollins' unforgivable blunder on RAW made WWE look bad after Crown Jewel, veteran explains (Exclusive)

WWE looked to keep the momentum going after Crown Jewel as Monday Night RAW was headlined by a huge four-man match involving Seth Rollins. Vince Russo pointed out a mistake from the RAW main event that should have been avoided at the highest level.

Seth Rollins finally faced Bronson Reed at the recently concluded Saudi Arabia event and required three powerful stomps to get the win over the Australian powerhouse.

Rollins was booked for a major number-one contender's match on RAW this week, with Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Sheamus being the other competitors.

While Seth lost, the commentators mentioned that the Visionary might not have been fully fit during the match after a brutal showdown against Bronson Reed.

Vince Russo liked the commentary detail as it saved Seth Rollins from a loss and also added to Reed's aura. The former WWE writer, however, noted that Seth Rollins wrestled like he had no physical issues and it was a big blunder from one of the company's most seasoned wrestlers.

Russo called out Rollins for ignoring basic wrestling psychology, as he explained below:

"Here's the problem, Chris, Rollins is wrestling like he is 100 %, the announcers keep saying he is not 100%, and I'm like guys, stop saying that, look at your monitor, there is obviously nothing wrong with this guy. Bro, he has got to understand the basic concept and psychology of wrestling." [25:40 onwards]

Vince Russo stated that Rollins being unprepared physically for the RAW main event was the ideal direction in the storyline. It not only protected Rollins but also helped Reed despite the latter losing at Crown Jewel.

All Seth had to do was look like he wasn't 100% on RAW and be in the moment, which, according to Russo, the WWE Superstar unfortunately didn't do:

"But when Seth is performing like he is perfectly fine, you are killing yourself, bro! That's the stuff that drives me nuts, Chris. Like, come on Seth, be in the moment. Be in the moment!" [27:44 onwards]

Bronson Reed's interference in the main event confirmed that WWE still has big plans for him and that his angle with Seth Rollins is far from over.
