Seth Rollins' WWE character criticized by wrestling veteran after Monday Night RAW (Exclusive)
Seth Rollins is among WWE's top superstars. He represented the company as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion of the modern era before losing the title at WrestleMania XL. Last week, The Visionary was challenged by the current titleholder, Damian Priest. While Rollins received a positive response from fans upon his return, Vince Russo highlighted a potential issue with him.
This week, Seth Rollins confronted his Money in the Bank opponent in the ring, reversing their roles from last week. Rollins turned the tables by proposing a massive stipulation for his upcoming title bout against Damian Priest. The Visionary said if he lost on July 6, he would never challenge for the World Heavyweight Title as long as Priest was champion.
Rollins further pitched that if Priest lost at Money in the Bank 2024, he must leave The Judgment Day. The Archer of Infamy immediately accepted his rival's challenge, creating more hype around the title contest.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo claimed that he didn't understand Seth Rollins' character.
"He comes out, they're singing the song and I'm asking myself this while I'm watching the television. And I'm still asking myself this question, 'What is Seth Rollins' character?' I still don't know what his (...) I know they sing to his song. I don't know what his character is, bro." (49:29 - 49:52)
Vince Russo may not be fond of Rollins' gimmick, but he is immensely popular among fans. It will be interesting to see whether The Visionary can regain the World Heavyweight Title in Toronto.
