Seth Rollins WWE return date seemingly revealed

Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins's WWE return date has seemingly been revealed. The veteran has not appeared on WWE television since he was attacked by Bronson Reed on the August 5 edition of RAW.

The poster for Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14 has been revealed. The event will air live on NBC and will also be available on the Peacock streaming platform. Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins are featured on the poster. Rollins being included on the poster seemingly revealed that he will be making his return later this year.

Rollins was the Special Guest Referee at WWE SummerSlam for the singles match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. Punk attacked Rollins during the match at the Premium Live Event, and The Visionary attempted to confront Punk on the following episode of the red brand. However, Reed brutally attacked Rollins and hit him with several Tsunami Splashes.

Major WWE star comments on his rivalry with Seth Rollins

Drew McIntyre recently discussed his rivalry with Seth Rollins and noted that the two stars pushed each other to have the best match possible.

The Scottish Warrior defeated Rollins to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL. However, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on McIntyre minutes later at The Show of Shows to win the title. Speaking on The Masked Man Show, McIntyre noted that his rivalry with Rollins got tense sometimes, but both stars brought out the best in each other.

"I mean, personally, it can get a little bit tense at times. As I said on TV to his face — and I mean it — that our rivalry is based, you know, in a professional sense. We get together, we push each other to have the best match possible, the best interview possible, whatever the situation is. That's when I get the best results out of people because I know I operate the best when I'm angry," he said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed were rumored to clash at Elimination Chamber 2024 earlier this year, but the match never took place. It will be interesting to see how the 38-year-old attempts to get revenge on Reed when he makes his return to WWE television.
