Shawn Michaels believes 3-time WWE champion is ready for "a run like Roman Reigns"
Shawn Michaels has a keen eye for talent, and the WWE veteran believes that a current star is ready to become the next Roman Reigns.
It’s not easy to impress the top men in WWE, but a current superstar seems to have done enough to earn high praise from many in the industry. The real Tribal Chief is the biggest star in the industry, and being compared to him is next-level praise.
Bron Breakker is making waves in WWE with his unique style, and Shawn Michaels believes the 26-year-old is destined for greatness. In an interview with The Athletic, HBK spoke highly of Bron. He went as far as to claim that the second-generation superstar has all the tools to have a run like Goldberg, Stone Cold, and Roman Reigns.
“He has all the tools to have a run like Goldberg or Steve Austin or Roman Reigns. He’s as gifted as they come. The thing that impressed me most about him was his ability to be coached. He trusted me. He trusted our process here. When you have special athletes, sometimes they think they understand or know the system because they’ve been great at everything else. He never came across that way.”
Shawn Michaels added that Bron Breakker wants to learn and become better at what he does. That is one of the main things that can land him in the big leagues with the legends.
Roman Reigns could return at WWE SummerSlam
WWE SummerSlam will host an Intercontinental Championship match between Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn. It will be the three-time NXT Champion’s second chance to win his first main roster title from the Intercontinental Champion.
Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa will face Cody Rhodes in an Undisputed WWE Championship match. The contest will be held under The Bloodline rules, allowing some interference from both sides.
The American Nightmare has already faced Roman Reigns in a Bloodline Rules match, and the surprise appearance of John Cena, Seth Rollins, and The Undertaker helped him take down The Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns could return to attack Solo Sikoa during the match and take back control of The Bloodline. The Enforcer has already called out the real Tribal Chief to take back what's his if he dares to.
It will be the perfect way to make use of the special rules and also allow Cody to retain his title without denting Solo’s reputation. The rivalry between Solo Sikoa and Reigns will be a treat to watch.
