Shawn Michaels finally acknowledges controversy surrounding "released" star; details heartbreaking spiral before seemingly confirming WWE return
WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels finally addressed the controversy surrounding NXT star Brooks Jensen. The wrestling legend made a huge announcement for next week's show.
For the past number of weeks, the 22-year-old star has been taking shots at The Heartbreak Kid on social media and accusing him of being a bad booker. Two weeks ago on WWE NXT, he was arrested after trying to cause more problems, as he attempted to sneak into the ring during an in-ring segment.
Before the show, Brooks Jensen posted a video on X claiming that Shawn Michaels didn't see any value in him. He then went on to state that he was leaving WWE soon. All this started after he and Josh Briggs parted ways.
On the latest episode of WWE NXT, a video aired of Shawn Michaels issuing an update on Brooks Jensen. HBK stated that Brooks was asked by NXT management to take a sabbatical to clear his head and get himself together. However, they were forced to take action and keep him away from live events and TV due to his bad behavior.
Michaels refuted claims that Brooks was released and then announced that next week on NXT, Brooks Jensen will have a meeting with Ava to discuss his future in order to see whether they can steer him in the right direction.
