Shawn Michaels makes groundbreaking WWE announcement

Shawn Michaels oversees the creative of NXT. Given that tonight is a big night for the brand, he made a major announcement.

Shawn Michaels has done an excellent job as NXT's booker. Several years ago, he took over from Triple H and has elevated the brand to new heights. Under Shawn's leadership, the brand has undergone a rebranding and continues to be a breeding ground for several young talents.

Tonight, NXT is set to take its next step forward as it debuts on the CW Network. The show will also be taking place in Chicago, Illinois. As a result, a big show was planned for tonight that will feature The Miz and CM Punk.

Given the importance of the night, Michaels kicked off the show. He welcomed the fans to NXT and then unveiled two new title belts for the NXT Championship and the NXT Women's Championship. These new designs contain the new NXT logo on the front. Both of these will be on the line tonight, and the winners of these matches will get the new one.
