Shawn Michaels names match with WWE Hall of Famer as one of his most underrated matches
Shawn Michaels has had numerous matches in his legendary career. He has now named a match with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley as one of his most underrated matches.
The Heartbreak Kid has had a legendary career in WWE. During his time as a wrestler, he was involved in many feuds that are still talked about to this day. His feuds with Bret Hart, The Undertaker, and Triple H still remain a topic of discussion several years later.
However, Michaels was also involved in several other feuds and storylines that aren't as heavily discussed. During a recent interview with The Schmo, the Hall of Famer mentioned his WWF Mind Games match against Mick Foley (as Mankind) as one of his most underrated matches.
"I don't know if they were fused with the two matches that I'm pretty proud of, [but one of my most underrated feuds] was the one with Mankind. Mick and I had a hell of a match at [WWF] Mind Games, but it was just a one-shot deal. And it's one of those things that I always feel like had Mick and I had a better opportunity to have a much bigger storyline, we could have really done some fantastic things." [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
Shawn Michaels on the possibility of NXT partnering with TNA Wrestling
A few weeks ago, Jordynne Grace shocked the world by showing up on an episode of NXT and challenging Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground. During their match, Ash by Elegance also made a brief appearance. To make things more interesting, Tatum Paxley showed up at TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view and challenged Grace for the Knockouts World Title.
During a recent interview with Sportsnet, Shawn Michaels opened up on the possibility of NXT collaborating with TNA Wrestling in the future.
"I will say that I think there's some probably more possibilities out there in the minds of other people than we actually are. We're really sort of at this point of possibly having, but again thrilled about the partnership that we had with TNA. Obviously, looking forward to more of that in the future but I'll also say at the same time, there's still a lot of things in the process. My focus for right now is obviously on NXT and obviously coming to Toronto on July 7 for NXT Heatwave," Shawn Michaels said.
It will be interesting to see if there will be cross-promotional appearances by NXT and TNA wrestlers.
