Sheamus defeats highly-touted 34-year-old star for the fourth time after SmackDown goes off the air
Sheamus has been a busy man on RAW, but his work isn't done once the cameras stop rolling. After the SmackDown before Bad Blood went off the air, he defeated a highly-touted 34-year-old superstar.
Whether it's been Pete Dunne, Ludwig Kaiser, Gunther, LA Knight, or Shinsuke Nakamura, Sheamus hasn't shied away from a challenge. On RAW, SmackDown Dark matches, and the live event circuit, the WWE legend has been facing various opponents and putting on banger after banger after banger.
This week, after SmackDown went off the air, Sheamus defeated the highly-touted Ludwig Kaiser for the fourth time in over four months.
The two have had five matches, three of which have been untelevised. The Celtic Warrior won all those bouts. In terms of their televised matches, they are officially 1-1. For some odd reason, WWE doesn't seem to want to complete the trilogy.
They had the opportunity to do so at Bash in Berlin 2024, but Kaiser was left off the card as WWE now prefers having shorter match cards for non-Big-5 Premium Live Events. Kaiser, however, got a United States Championship shot against LA Knight in Berlin one night before the PLE.
He has knocked every opportunity out of the park, and his bangers with the Irish superstar will continue to help his stock grow within WWE.
