Sheamus finally acknowledges former champion after brutal match on WWE RAW
Sheamus and his former stablemate Pete Dunne collided in a Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook Match on the latest episode of WWE RAW. After the bout, he shared a photo of his bruised back and finally acknowledged his opponent.
The two stars have been feuding on the red brand for a while now. The Celtic Warrior has been referring to The Bruiserweight by his old ring name "Butch," which made the latter angry. They faced each other in a normal match last month and RAW, which was won by Pete Dunne. However, their feud didn't end there.
They competed in a brutal match on this week's WWE RAW, and Sheamus emerged victorious via pinfall after hitting the Brogue Kick even though his arms were tied behind his back with zip ties.
He shared a post on X/Twitter after the show and showed respect to the former NXT United Kingdom Champion by acknowledging him as Pete Dunne instead of Butch.
"BUTCH IS DEAD. LONG LIVE PETE DUNNE. #Respect #Banger," he wrote.

Sheamus recently signed a new deal with WWE
The Celtic Warrior has been in the Stamford-based company for over a decade, and he'll remain in the company for many more years. He recently signed a new contract, which means wrestling fans will keep seeing him on WWE programming for the foreseeable future.
Sheamus addressed it on X by writing that he's looking forward to many more years of getting paid and doing what he loves.
"Here’s to many more years of getting paid for doing what I love most.. Kicking fellas in the face & having banger after banger.. ANNND thanks to each ‘n’ every one of you beautiful legends. Sláinte!" he wrote.
The Celtic Warrior is just one title away from becoming a WWE Grand Slam Champion. All he needs to do is to win the Intercontinental Championship.
