Sheamus gets revenge for vicious backstage attack from last week's WWE RAW
WWE Superstar Sheamus was viciously attacked last week on WWE RAW during a backstage segment. The Irishman was engaged in an intense conversation with The Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser as both men sized each other up. However, before either of them could lay hands on each other, Sheamus got attacked by a former ally.
Pete Dunne is involved in a red-hot feud with The Celtic Warrior. The Bruiserweight jumped the Irishman with a Shillelagh and kept him grounded with kicks. As security tried to help the former WWE Champion, Dunne hit Sheamus hard on his left hand, injuring it. Despite this injury, The Celtic Warrior defeated The Bruiserweight in a singles match on this week’s RAW.
The Irish Superstar tried to finish the match as soon as it began with a Brogue Kick. However, he missed, and both wrestlers fought to gain the upper hand. Dunne targeted the injured hand of his opponent from the get-go. However, The Celtic had things under control before he got distracted by Pat McAfee’s commentary, and chose to clap hands with him.
Taking advantage, Pete Dunne pushed his opponent onto the steel steps and stomped his injured arm. The Bruiserweight even replicated Sheamus’ signature Ten Bangers during the match. However, The Celtic Warrior responded with 20 bangers instead.
Dunne gained the upper hand once again when he trapped the former WWE Champion's injured hand in a turnbuckle and attacked it. But his free reign didn’t last long as The Celtic Warrior tore the turnbuckle covering and finished things with a Brogue Kick.
With this, he has conquered The Bruiserweight once again. It will be interesting to see whether this is the end of their feud or if Dunne will return with the Shillelagh to strike his former ally once again.
