Sheamus makes major announcement during WWE RAW

Sheamus confirmed a major announcement during WWE RAW. This will be his first involvement in such a role in his career.

The Celtic Warrior is set to appear on the August 24 episode of ESPN College GameDay. The show will be taking place in the star's hometown in Dublin, Ireland. The star has announced that he is set to be the celebrity guest picker for the show. Pat McAfee also made the announcement on tonight's RAW show when the star was taking part in his match against Pete Dunne.

Sheamus also made the announcement on his Instagram during RAW after his match with Pete Dunne. He took to his social media and posted a video with McAfee to say that he was going to be one of the Celebrity Guest Pickers for GameDay. He asked fans to tune into the show to watch him make his picks.

"Big announcement 🚨🚨🚨!! You’re looking at one of ESPN’s College GameDay Celebrity Guest Pickers live from my hometown of Dublin! 🇮🇪🍀Tune into @espn this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET where I’ll make my picks fella!"

Meanwhile, this was McAfee's last WWE RAW for the foreseeable future, as the commentator will be stepping away from WWE for his commitments to GameDay.
