Sheamus says "I lost weight," 39-year-old WWE Superstar responds

A WWE Superstar has responded to Sheamus' recent tweet stating that he's lost weight. The star in question is none other than Baron Corbin.

At Clash at the Castle: Scotland, Drew McIntyre took on Damian Priest in a World Heavyweight title match in the main event of the Premium Live Event. CM Punk ended up interfering in the contest and cost The Scottish Warrior an almost guaranteed win.

On the RAW after the PLE, Drew McIntyre announced that he was quitting WWE before storming off. Sheamus took to X/Twitter and took a massive shot at McIntyre while stating that he had lost weight.

Sheamus' tweet was a reference to an episode of RAW earlier this year where he called McIntyre "stupid" for being obsessed with CM Punk. The Celtic Warrior's tweet came to Baron Corbin's notice, and here's what he responded with:

WWE legend on Sheamus' weight gain

The former WWE Champion made his big return in April and had put on quite a bit of weight. He was mercilessly trolled by fans online and responded to them as well.

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long later opened up about the situation on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine and had the following to say:

"The other thing, too, is sometimes when you're off like that, you already know what's gonna happen if you ain't working out. You already know if you can't work out, then you certainly have to change your diet. That's what you have to do. If you can't work out, you gotta change the diet. So if you don't change that diet and you're just sitting around, you're gonna put that weight on you, you know? But hopefully him being back now, he can get a chance to get back in the gym, get the weight down, and get himself back right."

It's clear that McIntyre quitting WWE is part of a storyline. A heated feud between him and CM Punk is in the works, and fans are beyond excited to see the duo collide sometime down the line.
