Sheamus sends four-word message after missing WWE RAW
WWE Superstar Sheamus has shared an update on social media after his absence from the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. The Celtic Warrior is currently competing in a championship tournament.
The 46-year-old did not feature on the latest episode of the red brand's show after competing in a Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook match against Pete Dunne last week. The two former stablemates put forth a brutal contest, which ended with the Irishman standing tall and securing a hard-fought win.
Sheamus also competed in his first-round match of the ongoing WWE Speed Championship Number One contender's tournament. The veteran performer defeated fellow European Giovanni Vinci to set up the next round clash with either Bron Breakker or Cruz Del Toro. After winning the bout, the former World Champion took to his X/Twitter account to send out a message celebrating his victory:
"I feel the need..," he wrote.

This week's RAW was taped following last week's show in St. Louis, as the company is currently on tour in the United Kingdom.
Wrestling veteran makes bold claim following Sheamus' most recent match on WWE RAW
Sheamus seemingly ended his feud with Dunne following his recent win over the latter. The Irishman finally acknowledged his former stablemate as Pete Dunne instead of Butch in a social media post after the match.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, former WWE writer Vince Russo expressed frustration with how the match ended. The veteran claimed that Pete Dunne would no longer feature on the red brand's show after losing to his former stablemate with the latter's hand tied behind his back.
"What about this: How much TV time did they give Pete Dunne in the last two months only for Sheamus to beat him with his hands tied behind his back? That’s why you gave Pete Dunne TV time for the last three months? So somebody could beat him with his hands tied behind his back? I am assuming we are never going to see Pete Dunne again. I am assuming," Russo said. [From 48:38 onwards]

In addition to his appearances on Monday Night RAW, Pete Dunne has featured heavily on NXT. The 30-year-old recently lost to Trick Williams in a Number One Contendership Last Man Standing Match for the NXT Championship. It remains to be seen what lies ahead for The Bruiserweight following recent losses.
