Sheamus shows off brutal battle scars ahead of WWE RAW; sends one-word message

Sheamus showed off his battle scars and shared an interesting message following his match against Pete Dunne last week on WWE RAW. The former Brawling Brutes battled in a 'Good Old' Fashioned Donnybrook Match last week on the red brand.

The Celtic Warrior outlasted Pete Dunne last week during their match. The Bruiserweight zip-tied Sheamus' hands behind his back, but the veteran still managed to hit the Brogue Kick for the pinfall victory.

Ahead of tonight's edition of RAW, WWE shared a video showcasing the battle scars the former champion sustained during the match. The former leader of The Brawling Brutes reacted to the promotion's post and noted that he put on another banger last week on RAW.

"BangerđŸ’¥," he wrote.

Sheamus, Pete Dunne (Butch), and Ridge Holland comprised The Brawling Brutes, but the group disbanded last year. Ridge Holland is no longer on the main roster and currently performs in WWE NXT.

Vince Russo makes bold claim following Sheamus' match on WWE RAW

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently suggested that Pete Dunne will not be featured on RAW anymore following his loss to Sheamus last week.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, the legend noted that the 46-year-old was able to defeat Dunne with his hands tied behind his back during the Donnybrook Match.

Russo wondered why the company would feature Dunne on television for months only to have him lose embarrassingly and assumed the former NXT Tag Team Champion would not be featured on television anymore.

"What about this: How much TV time did they give Pete Dunne in the last two months only for Sheamus to beat him with his hands tied behind his back? That’s why you gave Pete Dunne TV time for the last three months? So somebody could beat him with his hands tied behind his back? I am assuming we are never going to see Pete Dunne again. I am assuming," Russo said. [From 48:38 onwards]

Sheamus has had a remarkable career in the company but has never captured the Intercontinental Championship. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the RAW star in the weeks ahead.
