Shocking twist pitched for an upcoming SmackDown match by WWE veteran (Exclusive)
WWE SmackDown kicked off a new era this past Friday as the show moved to the USA Network. Multiple matches have already been announced for next week's show, with one of them being a unique stipulation bout involving Bayley, Naomi, Nia Jax, and Tiffany Stratton. While the result of the contest is unpredictable, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell has pitched a shocking twist for it.
Bayley and Naomi will face Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton in a tag team match next week, with the person to score the pinfall securing a WWE Women's Championship opportunity. However, the stipulation also states that the woman who gets pinned will have to leave SmackDown.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell pitched the idea of Bayley and Naomi together securing the pinfall, with the challenger among the two being decided by fan votes.
"What if they had a double pin, both of them on top of Nia or Tiffany and they get one-two-three? So who gets the win? Then put it up to fan votes and just throw it out there. Involve the fans in this and have one winner and you see where the support is."
The wrestling veteran added that he was not interested in seeing Jax vs. Bayley or a Triple Threat Match involving Naomi.
"Bayley vs. Nia Two is boring. They’ve already done it. What else are they gonna do? And the Triple Threat, we have seen it 15000 times, if not more." [From 1:01:35 onwards]
WWE has been teasing a rift between Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton
Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton joined forces a few months ago. However, the duo already looks to be on a collision course, as WWE has teased a rift between them multiple times.
Jax cost Stratton her match against Bayley on SmackDown last week, while the Money in the Bank holder has attempted to cash in her contract during the champion's matches on multiple occasions.
Nia Jax won the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam, where she was helped by Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie cashing in her contract on The Irresistible Force after weeks of teases could be a major twist in their ongoing storyline.
