Showdown with Damian Priest on WWE's main roster is going to be magic, says former champion
Damian Priest stood out as a top WWE star when he slowly moved away from The Judgment Day in the past few months. Meanwhile, former North American Champion Bronson Reed wants to create magic with The Archer of Infamy on the main roster.
Most of the RAW and SmackDown locker rooms are filled with former NXT Superstars. Naturally, there are many dream matches and scenarios across both brands, which are bound to happen in time.
In an interview on The Overnight Crowd with Nims Azoor, Reed stated he would love to create magic with Damian Priest on WWE's main roster as the two have never gone up against each other on RAW or SmackDown. The Aussie star also stated that he was proud of Priest winning the World Heavyweight Championship.
"Well, if he looks at me the wrong way backstage, then maybe. I came up with him in NXT. I respect him a lot. We've got to wrestle there, and I was very proud getting to see him become the World Heavyweight Champion because it sort of validated our era of NXT—having someone from our era become champion. I mean the Seths and the Romans; they were before us. Now that he's done that, you obviously have Gunther do the same thing, and I want to be that as well. I'm sure you're going to see [Damian] Priest vs. Bronson [Reed] in WWE, and when you do, it's going to be magic," Reed said. [From 06:06 to 06:43]

Bronson Reed and Damian Priest had one singles match on WWE TV four years ago
A few years ago, Damian Priest and Bronson Reed got the opportunity to work for the Stamford-based promotion under Triple H's creative leadership on WWE NXT. The two stars slowly built their name on the developmental brand.
Apart from a few one-on-one matches on the live circuit, Priest and Reed had one singles match on television. The Colossal walked out with a win but ended up losing the North American Championship in a Ladder Match to Damian Priest.
After their multi-man Ladder Match at TakeOver: XXX, the two have crossed paths in different gimmick matches on WWE's main roster. However, the two are yet to feud or have a singles match on RAW or SmackDown.
