SmackDown star breaks character to back Bron Breakker following WWE RAW

A popular SmackDown babyface recently broke character to back Bron Breakker following the latest edition of WWE RAW. The name in question is Breakker's former tag team partner Baron Corbin.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion is scheduled to defend his title against Jey Uso next week on RAW. The two superstars were involved in a heated conversation on the September 16 edition of the red brand's show. Towards the end, Breakker attacked Uso, who then flattened the champion with a spear.

Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio in the main event and after the bout, The Judgment Day attacked The Terror Twins. Jey Uso came out to save Priest and Ripley. However, before Uso could enter the squared circle, Breakker took out the former Bloodline member with a spear of his own. The 26-year-old took to his Instagram account earlier today to share a picture of himself from the show.

"Beware of dog," he wrote in the caption.

The post caught the attention of Bron Beakker's former tag team partner Baron Corbin. After losing the NXT Tag Team Champions, Bron moved to Monday Night RAW, becoming one of the top heels on the red brand, while Corbin joined SmackDown as a babyface.

The former Money in the Bank, despite being a babyface, backed his former partner in the comments section.

"🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," Corbin commented.

Wrestling veteran shares honest opinion on Bron Breakker and Jey Uso's storyline progression on WWE RAW

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo wasn't amused with WWE's booking of Bron Breakker and Jey Uso on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.

Speaking on the most recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, the former WWE head writer pointed out he did not like the Intercontinental Champion getting his revenge right before the show went off the air. Russo claimed many fans might have missed Breakker taking out Uso.

"A storyline isn't you're nothing without your family, like, that's not a freaking storyline, but here's another thing too. Breakker gets the heat, and Jey Uso winds up spearing him. Again, we took the heat away, but then Breakker got the heat back at the end of the show. I didn't, too [like it], but unfortunately, Chris, a lot of people changed the channel or they went to bed. It was at the very end of the show, so very few people, the smallest audience, got to see Bron Breakker get his heat back," he said. [From 42:38 onwards]
