WWE RAW star seemingly seriously injured; referee involvement stopped due to major concern in the ring
WWE RAW Superstar Tyler Bate might have suffered an injury on this week's episode of NXT. During the show, he teamed up with Pete Dunne to take on The Hank and Tank Connection in a tag team match.
During the bout, Hank used his size to overpower The Bruiserweight. The latter went for a submission hold, but Hank lifted him up and backed into his corner. Tank made the tag, and they took out the New Catch Republic with stereo suicide dives on the outside.
Pete Dunne nailed Hank with a kick but got suplexed by the latter. Towards the end of the match, Hank made a move off the top rope, and Dunne countered with a knee. The RAW star twisted the big man's fingers, and the New Catch Republic won the match after Tyler Bate hit a Corkscrew Plancha off the top rope.
However, the inaugural WWE NXT UK Champion seemingly injured his arm during the match. He only used one hand when he went for the cover and was protecting his injured arm.
When the referee tried to lift Bate's arm after the match, Pete Dunne stopped him. It is currently unknown whether this is a severe or minor injury.
