SmackDown stars defeating the Bloodline in just their 3rd match in WWE was the right decision, says veteran (Exclusive)
The Bloodline 2.0 has proven itself as one of the most fearsome factions in WWE. However, the heel faction recently lost the tag titles to the Motor City Machine Guns in what was the latter duo's third match in the company. While some questioned the company's decision to put the belt on MCMG this early, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell agreed with Triple H's choice.
Motor City Machine Guns defeated Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa in an impromptu WWE Tag Team Championship match on SmackDown last week. The legendary team received assistance from the OG Bloodline members as Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso took out Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, while Jey Uso distracted the Tongans.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk, Dutch Mantell stated that he is completely behind the creative team's decision to put the gold on MCMG just in their third match in the company. The former WWE manager also hyped the duo's upcoming segment with Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
"Well, that’s the way they used to do if you’re gonna push a team. I don’t know if they are gonna push them, I hope they are. They won the titles, that’s a way you get a team over. They are gonna appear on The Grayson Waller Effect. Grayson Waller is I think more their style cause Grayson Waller is a big bullshi*ter too. People enjoy that." [58:04 onwards]
The Bloodline has already moved on from the loss as the faction has shifted its attention to Roman Reigns, Jimmy, and Jey Uso. The two sides will clash in a six-man tag team match at Crown Jewel.
