Solo Sikoa breaks silence following Tribal Combat Match announcement
Solo Sikoa has something to prove the day WWE RAW moves to the Netflix streaming platform. His succession as The Tribal Chief will be made official if he manages to defeat Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat Match on January 6, 2025.
The OTC challenged Sikoa this past Friday, which The Bloodline's former Enforcer has accepted. Further rules were not made clear, for instance, the roles of the rest of their respective crew members. Considering the weight of the upcoming clash, and with the Ula Fala on the line, it is likely the new Bloodline's leader will want to get help in every way possible.
Taking to his Instagram story Solo Sikoa broke his silence since Roman Reigns had issued the challenge. He shared a short clip and proclaimed that on January 6, everything would be his, including the Ula Fala.
"Jan 6th...It's all mines," Sikoa wrote.
In April 2024, Solo Sikoa took over as The Bloodline's Tribal Chief. He has since recruited Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and finally, Jacob Fatu. The four-man crew have been wreaking havoc ever since their union. However, not every moment has been exceptional as they had some strong opposition, predominantly in the form of Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline.
Does Solo Sikoa stand a chance against Roman Reigns on WWE RAW?
An argument can be made that Roman Reigns is the most important wrestler in the professional wrestling industry today. So on such a monumental occasion, does Solo Sikoa really stand a chance against the OTC?
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry believes the upcoming Tribal Combat Match will mark the end of their five-month-long feud. He further noted that there is a high probability that it will also be the beginning of Roman's WrestleMania 41 program, with the way this storyline has been playing out.
As seen in the Instagram post above, the Tribal Combat Match between Reigns and Sikoa is billed as Tribal Chief vs. Tribal Chief. It is their first one-on-one encounter. Sikoa had joined Reigns in the fall of 2022 at the height of The Bloodline Saga.
He was previously working in NXT. It's suffice to say that The Street Champ has come a long way since then.
