Solo Sikoa leads The Bloodline into WWE SmackDown ahead of Roman Reigns showdown

Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline have arrived at the Colonial Life Arena in South Carolina for WWE SmackDown ahead of their confrontation with Roman Reigns tonight. The OTC and Cody Rhodes defeated Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in the main event of Bad Blood earlier this month.

The Original Tribal Chief and Sikoa are set for a face-to-face tonight on the blue brand. Ahead of the show, WWE shared a video of Sikoa leading The Bloodline into SmackDown. The promotion captioned the post wondering what the group had planned for tonight's episode of the blue brand.

"What does The Bloodline have in store TONIGHT on #SmackDown? 🤔," wrote WWE.

Solo Sikoa named himself the new Tribal Chief following Roman Reigns' loss to Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania XL earlier this year in Philadelphia. Reigns went on hiatus for several months but returned at SummerSlam to ensure that Sikoa did not defeat Rhodes to capture the title.

Rhodes and Reigns agreed to put their differences aside to team up at Bad Blood to battle Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. The Rock returned after the match but did not get involved at the premium live event on October 5.

Former WWE writer criticizes the new version of The Bloodline

Wrestling veteran and former head-writer for World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince Russo, recently suggested that the company did not do enough to make the members of The Bloodline stars on WWE SmackDown.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown show, the legend claimed that the company did not do enough to get the members of the faction over as individual stars. Russo added that everyone in the group looked alike, and not much had been done to make each member stand out on their own.

"Bro, you got to make these guys individuals, we've got to know who's who. They got to have different character traits," he said. "These guys look alike, they work alike, [WWE] never ever did anything to make these guys individuals." [From 7:44 to 8:08]

Solo Sikoa kicked Jimmy Uso out of the group following the latter's loss to Jey Uso at WrestleMania XL. Big Jim made his return at Bad Blood to help Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes pick up the victory.

Jimmy Uso pitched the idea of reuniting with Jey Uso to combat the faction, but Roman Reigns responded by saying "No Yeet!". It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the storyline during tonight's edition of SmackDown.
