Solo Sikoa isn't ready to be The Tribal Chief, says veteran, one of two stars would be better for a major reasonĀ

Wrestling veteran Matt Morgan believes Solo Sikoa is not yet ready to become The Bloodline's new leader.

After leading The Bloodline for nearly four years, Roman Reigns went on hiatus after losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. In Reigns' absence, Solo Sikoa has seemingly been leading a coup within the faction on SmackDown. As The Enforcer added Tama Tonga to the group, he and his new MFT destroyed Jimmy Uso.

As many speculate on whether Sikoa is now the new Tribal Chief, Matt Morgan stated on his Gigantic Pop podcast that the 31-year-old was not yet ready for the role. He claimed either Jey or Jimmy Uso would have been a better choice for their promo skills.

"Solo, do you all think Solo is good enough to pull off being the new Head of the Table? What do y'all think? [I have my doubts. I think they turn Jey or something. Like Jey could do it now.] Either of the two Usos could've done it. And The Ones are face now, but because promo-wise they're better than him, no offense to Solo. He's not there yet. He's getting there. His facial is getting pretty good. Fans [are] chanting at him," he said. [28:02 - 28:33]

Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga will compete at WWE Backlash France

Last week on SmackDown, Tama Tonga smashed into Kevin Owens' car before dragging the bloody former Universal Champion to the ramp. As Tonga joined Solo Sikoa in the ring, Owens tried to fight back. Nevertheless, he got destroyed by The Enforcer and his MFT.

Last night on the blue brand, Owens attempted to take revenge by attacking Sikoa and Tonga backstage as they arrived at the show. Although officials broke them off, the former Universal Champion and Sikoa's MFT later engaged in a brawl backstage and into the ring. While the seemingly new leader of The Bloodline rushed to the squared circle to help Tonga against The Prizefighter, Randy Orton interfered to save the latter.

With Sikoa and Tonga now facing Owens and Orton in a tag team match at Backlash France, it would be interesting to see the dynamic between The Enforcer and his MFT as they fight two of the WWE's top stars.
