Solo Sikoa steals OG Bloodline moniker following major Crown Jewel victory
Solo Sikoa stole The OG Bloodline's catchphrase today following a major victory at WWE Crown Jewel. Roman Reigns teamed up with The Usos to battle The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga at Crown Jewel over the weekend in Saudia Arabia.
Sikoa shockingly pinned Reigns after connecting with his second Samoan Spike in the six-man tag team match. Sami Zayn attempted to attack the 31-year-old after the match, but accidentally hit Roman Reigns with a Helluva Kick instead.
Sikoa took to his Instagram story today to steal the original Bloodline's moniker and claimed that the new version of the faction was "The Ones" following their impressive victory at Crown Jewel. You can check out Solo Sikoa's message on Instagram by clicking here.
Sami Zayn attempted to explain his actions this past Monday night on WWE RAW, but Jimmy Uso wasn't buying it. However, Jey Uso invited Zayn to SmackDown to have a conversation with Roman Reigns this Friday night.
Former WWE writer shares interesting theory as to why The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Solo Sikoa pinning Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel this past Saturday night.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Coach & Bro Show available exclusively via Backstage Pass, Russo shared that Reigns may have wanted to take the pinfall at Crown Jewel. The legend noted that the new version of the faction was "The B-Team", and The Original Tribal Chief may have wanted to put them over to make them more of a viable threat.
"Is it possible that's what Roman wanted to do? We've been saying all along and I've got heat for this too. We've been saying this all along. The current Bloodline is the B-Team. If that is the feeling, and I promise you that is the feeling within WWE. If that is the feeling, is it that far-fetched for Roman to say, 'Let me put them over'? That may bring them up a level, that may even us out a little bit going into Survivor Series. I would not be surprised if this was Roman's suggestion," said Russo.
Solo Sikoa named himself the new Tribal Chief of The Bloodline during Roman Reigns' WWE hiatus earlier this year. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the storyline moving forward, as the promotion is now building toward Survivor Series 2024 at the end of the month.
