Solo Sikoa takes a shot at Paul Heyman amid Roman Reigns WWE return speculation

WWE is just hours away from the 37th annual SummerSlam and it's widely believed that Roman Reigns will make his highly-anticipated return. Solo Sikoa is preparing for the biggest match of his career yet but is still finding time to taunt Paul Heyman.

The self-proclaimed new Tribal Chief will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. The original Tribal Chief has been away since being dethroned by Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. Since then, Roman's younger cousin has controversially taken control of The Bloodline by exiling Jimmy Uso and bringing in Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.

The Wiseman tried to keep control of the situation but Sikoa and his henchmen turned on him and destroyed the Hall of Famer for refusing to acknowledge The Usos' younger brother.

Sikoa has taunted Reigns and Heyman to fuel the pending war, which could kick off as soon as tonight on SummerSlam, based on rumors and speculation surrounding the return of The Head of The Table. Solo's shots continued today when he took to his Instagram Stories to re-post fan artwork shared by the official WWE Instagram account. The comic tells the story of Heyman's annihilation and was created by a user named Norberto Gaetan.

"More ruthless, dangerous and merciless by the day. Do you acknowledge @solosikoa? #SummerSlam @paulheyman," the company wrote as the caption to the graphic below.

Sikoa vs. Rhodes at SummerSlam will now be held under Bloodline Rules. The Bloodline brawler added the stipulation on tonight's go-home SmackDown after an altercation with The American Nightmare.

The Bloodline wins gold on WWE SmackDown

The final WWE SmackDown before SummerSlam took place tonight in Cleveland, Ohio. The main event saw The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu defeat DIY's Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

Tonight's match saw interference from Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa. The Bloodline muscle presented Sikoa with the championship belts after the match, and he posed with the gold as SmackDown went off the air.

DIY were tag team champions for 28 days in their first reign. Ciampa and Gargano won the titles from A-Town Down Under on the July 5 edition of SmackDown.
