Sonya Deville breaks character to console major WWE star

WWE RAW star Sonya Deville broke character today on social media to send a message to a major star. Deville attempted to replace Kairi Sane in the Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament but was denied by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.

Kairi Sane was taken out last week on WWE RAW in a backstage attack, and Pure Fusion Collective was spotted near the scene. Pearce stated that he would not be replacing Sane with Deville because he believed her faction was responsible for the attack on Sane and elected to replace her in the tournament with IYO SKY. The Genius of the Sky defeated Alba Fyre and Natalya last night on RAW to advance in the tournament.

Natalya took to social media today to note that she would never stop fighting despite the heartbreaking loss on RAW. Deville broke character to claim that the veteran was the BOAT (Best of all Time), and you can check out her message in the post below.

"You are the BOAT 🔥🔥🔥🔥," she wrote.

Pure Fusion Collective's Zoey Stark is still in the tournament and will be squaring off against Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai next Monday night on WWE RAW in the semifinals.

Sonya Deville mocks WWE RAW star

Sonya Deville recently mocked Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai for always being injured.

Kai suffered a torn ACL last year and missed a substantial amount of time. The veteran also tore her meniscus earlier this year and was out of action for a couple of months. Despite suffering an ACL tear of her own in 2023, Sonya Deville took to her official X account recently to take a shot at Dakota Kai. She suggested that the 36-year-old was forgettable as a performer because of the amount of time she had spent recovering from injuries.

"You are pretty forgettable … I mean seeing as half the time you’re on the bench.. 🫢"

Sonya Deville only competed in nine matches this year after returning from her injury in July. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for the former authority figure after she was not allowed to compete in the Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament on WWE RAW.
