"Sorry man, we've gotta eat" - WWE veteran makes 'heartbreaking' admission about WrestleMania 41
After the massive success of WrestleMania XL, the WWE Universe has been waiting for WrestleMania 41, which will be held on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tickets for The Show of Shows next year are out for presale now, and a massive controversy has made its way into the headlines.
The ticket prices for The Grandest Stage of Them All seem to be very unusual. Combo tickets for both nights of the show are costing around $5000, leaving millions around the world stunned and worried.
While speaking in a recent edition of Backstage Pass, WWE veteran Vince Russo addressed the ticket prices set for the upcoming edition of The Show of Shows and stated that it was "heartbreaking" to see that. The 63-year-old veteran stated that numerous parents would be forced to say 'no' to their kids when it comes to watching the spectacle live inside Allegiant Stadium.
"My buddy’s 5-year-old son wants to go to WrestleMania. And my buddy has to tell his son, 'Sorry man, we’ve gotta eat.' That to me is heartbreaking. When your kids are a fan of this product and you cannot even fulfill their dreams and their enjoyment because you just can’t afford it," Vince Russo said.
Will Cody Rhodes face Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 41?
While the current storylines in WWE have kept fans engaged, it is still hard to predict any match for WrestleMania 41. Though Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns were initially expected to face each other at The Grandest Stage of Them All next year, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray predicted alternative opponents for The American Nightmare and The Original Tribal Chief if Rhodes vs. Reigns III does not materialize.
While speaking on a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio podcast, the 53-year-old veteran stated that he would like to see Cody face Jacob Fatu and on the other hand, a battle between Roman and Solo Sikoa to determine The Head of the Table.
"If I were to agree with some people's opinion that Cody [vs.] Roman III would be too soon for 'Mania, and somebody asked me, 'Well, what's your opinion? What do we go with?' Roman and Solo [for] The Head of The Table, [and] Cody [vs.] Jacob Fatu," Bully Ray said. [10:51 - 11:09]
With a lot of anticipation among fans for the WrestleMania 41 match card, WWE would clearly look to add some more twists and turns to make things interesting. Only time will tell what Triple H has planned for The Grand est Stage of Them All next year.
