Special plans for Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood
Cody Rhodes is set to team up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood. The unlikely tag team will take on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the premium live event in October. It looks like the creative has a special entrance performance planned for the Undisputed WWE Champion at the next PLE.
Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Title from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL earlier this year. The Original Tribal Chief went on a hiatus after 'Mania and made his shocking return at SummerSlam, where he cost Solo Sikoa his title match against The American Nightmare.
Roman Reigns appeared on multiple episodes of SmackDown in the build to WWE Bad Blood, where he was outnumbered by The Bloodline. The Original Tribal Chief found an unlikely ally in his WrestleMania XL opponent who agreed to take out the Samoan faction with him.
Now, it seems like The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's band will perform Rhodes' entrance at Bad Blood. The UAPBM4's official X (FKA Twitter) handle announced the news earlier today.
"Oh nothing… just expanding our reach and getting national exposure! @WWE see you soon!"
Will Cody Rhodes walk out victorious at Bad Blood?
Cody Rhodes has been on a winning streak for quite some time now. He has successfully defended his WWE Undisputed Championship against formidable opponents such as AJ Styles, Solo Sikoa, Kevin Owens, and more.
Roman Reigns, on the other hand, is looking to get back to winning ways since losing his title to the former AEW star. The Original Tribal Chief will also want to put Solo Sikoa in his place for trying to usurp his position.
According to a report by Bet Online, the team of Reigns and Rhodes is the favorite to win the upcoming tag team encounter at Bad Blood. The website claims that the duo has a 95.2% chance of winning the match.
The Head of the Table has made it clear on multiple occasions that once The Bloodline business is taken care of, he will be back for what is rightfully his - the Undisputed WWE Championship.
