Former WWE writer reacts to controversial segment featuring IYO SKY
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Carlito, claiming he needed to learn Chinese during a backstage interaction with IYO SKY and Kairi Sane last month on RAW.
The Damage CTRL stars are actually Japanese, and Carlito's comment led to controversy. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend made an interesting admission. He noted that he would not be able to tell the difference if he was in the same situation as Carlito.
"I mean, I am gonna tell you... I don't care what kind of heat I get. I am telling you the truth. If somebody was speaking to me in Japanese and somebody was speaking to me in Chinese, I wouldn't know which is which. I am just being honest, I wouldn't know." [5:55 onwards]

SKY previously held the WWE Women's Championship but lost the title to Bayley at WrestleMania XL. It will be interesting to see if The Genius of the Sky can capture the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan after winning the Battle Royal on RAW.
