Spoiler: Popular WWE duo unveils brutal new finisher on SmackDown

The go-home SmackDown for WWE Bash in Berlin aired live from the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. The show kicked off with Micahel Cole returning to the blue brand. Elsewhere, Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews also made their in-ring return against Legado Del Fantasma's Angel and Berto.

During the match, Angel and Berto were given a new team name. The duo were referred to as Los Garza. In addition to the new name, veteran WWE commentator Michael Cole called the finisher used by Legado Del Fantasma members to win MTY, abbreviated from Monterrey, Mexico, the duo's birthplace. The duo executed the move on Apollo Crews to end the contest via pinfall.

Berto reportedly inked a new multi-year deal with the global juggernaut. In July 2024, his cousin, Angel, confirmed that he had re-signed with WWE. Earlier this year, several rumors suggested the duo's departure from the wrestling promotion, with their previous contract reportedly set to expire on August 1.

Legado Del Fantasma has been featured regularly on Friday Night SmackDown. The leader of the faction, Santos Escobar, challenged LA Knight for the United States Championship last week. The 40-year-old had an impressive outing but fell short against The Megastar.

It remains to be seen what lies ahead for the heel faction following Los Garza's win over Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews.
