[SPOILERS] LA Knight defeats 40-year-old faction leader; Attacked by Logan Paul post-match
LA Knight had a busy July 19 in Omaha, Nebraska, for SmackDown. After making his SummerSlam match official, he defeated a top faction leader, only to be attacked by Logan Paul post-match.

This week's episode of SmackDown saw LA Knight and Logan Paul get into a verbal back-and-forth, cramming in as many insults and cheap shots as they could in a few minutes. The segment ended with the United States Championship attempting a sneak attack, only to be hit by a BFT.
In the post-SmackDown tapings, which will air next week, LA Knight defeated the 40-year-old leader of Legado Del Fantasma Santos Escobar. After the match, Logan Paul attacked him.
Knight and Escobar's match came about backstage this week on SmackDown. Escobar reminded him that while he may have technically pinned Logan Paul in the Money in the Bank qualifier, he didn't pin Santos, setting up the challenge.
It looks like that has now been taken care of and will be behind him for a while. Knight will focus on SummerSlam, where Logan Paul has the home-field advantage in Cleveland.
