Stephanie McMahon's potential return to WWE will be short-lived for unfortunate reason, says Lee Cole
Stephanie McMahon resigned from WWE in January of last year. The late Tom Cole's brother, Lee Cole, claimed that although she could return to the Stamford-based company, her comeback would be shortlived following the recent 'ring boys' lawsuit.
The Billion Dollar Princess became WWE's chairwoman and co-CEO in 2022 following her father Vince McMahon's initial retirement. However, she left the company following his return as Executive Chairman in January 2023.
On his Wrestling with the Devil podcast, Lee Cole, the brother of former WWE ring boy Tom Cole, discussed the future of the company after five individuals filed a new lawsuit against the former chairman, his wife Linda McMahon, WWE, and even TKO accusing them of allowing "open, rampant abuse" of ring boys.
Lee claimed Stephanie McMahon will be deposed because she "knows everything." Hence, he predicted that The Billion Dollar Princess' potential comeback would be shortlived as TKO would want to distance themselves from everyone associated with Vince, who is also being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sex trafficking and abuse:
"Anybody that thinks Stephanie McMahon is gonna be coming back, she might come back but it's gonna be very temporary because these people are all gonna be deposed," he said. [From 02:56 to 03:04]

Stephanie McMahon will be at WWE WrestleMania 41
Since her departure in January 2023, Stephanie McMahon has made several sporadic appearances in the Stamford-based company. The Billion Dollar Princess even kicked off night two of WrestleMania 40.
After nearly 21 months, Stephanie recently broke her social media silence to confirm her return at WrestleMania 41 in an Instagram post:
"I'm ready, @tripleh! Can’t wait to be back in Vegas for The showcase of The Immortals #WrestleMania 41 on April 19 and 20!" she wrote.
Earlier this year, Triple H addressed his wife's status, stating that she was not under contract. It would be interesting to see if Stephanie would eventually return to the company.
