WWE legend comments on Stephanie McMahon potentially changing her name
Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently claimed that Stephanie McMahon changing her name would be unnecessary.
Vince McMahon resigned from the company earlier this year after allegations against him by former WWE employee Janel Grant were made public. Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Long was asked if he thought McMahon should change her name.
The legend noted that Vince McMahon's controversy had nothing to do with her and that Stephanie McMahon had nothing to worry about and definitely didn't have to think of changing her last name.
"If she used her name, I wouldn't let these people worry me. She ain't got nothing to do with that, that situation is with her dad and other people. She is not involved in that, so why change her name because of something that somebody else done. She has nothing to do with that and I wouldn't change my name," he said [2:09 onwards]

Stephanie McMahon has previously served as an authority figure in the company but departed the promotion last year. And although she has made fleeting appearances in WWE since her departure, it will be interesting to see if the 48-year-old ever returns to the company in an official capacity again.
