Stephanie Vaquer beats 29-year-old star in WWE in-ring debut
The Chilean sensation Stephanie Vaquer made her in-ring debut on the October 15 episode of NXT, and what a showing it was. The veteran defeated a 29-year-old star in her first televised match for the brand.
Stephanie Vaquer made her presence known when Giulia introduced her as her ally against NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez and the returning Cora Jade. It was then announced that Vaquer would make her televised WWE in-ring debut against the relatively inexperienced Wren Sinclar.
Despite that, Sinclair put on a great performance and proved to be a solid first opponent for Stephanie Vaquer, whose win was never in doubt.
Vaquer's unique in-ring style and slickness were noticed right off the bat. Both Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade came out to attack her, but she was saved by Giulia.
The Chilean star would then issue a challenge for Halloween Havoc, where she and Giulia will team up against Perez and Jade. The match isn't official as of this writing, but it will be in a matter of time.
After Halloween Havoc is over, we imagine that the Giulia-Vaquer alliance will be dissolved. They both momentarily held the NXT Women's Championship, and if they win the tag team match, their focus will likely be on the gold held by Perez.
