Stone Cold admits he was "actually terrible" during one point of his WWE career
Stone Cold Steve Austin recently admitted that he was actually terrible at the start of his WWE career.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was one of the top stars in WWE's Attitude Era. Although he didn't win 15 world titles, he was still a popular babyface in the company. However, the start of his career was anything but extraordinary.
During a recent interview with Sidewalks Entertainment, Steve Austin looked back at his time in WWE and revealed that he was actually terrible at the start of his career.
“You just described my wrestling career, and it was actually a blast. When I started, I was actually terrible. Through trial and tribulations and paying dues on the road, I ended up being really good at it. That was just due to a lot of hard work. I had a lot of great times in the business, it was the number one passion in my life was my wrestling career. I’ve said that on many occasions." [H/T Fightful]

Every wrestler gets into the business to become one of the best in the world. While it may sound like the journey to the top is really difficult, it is even harder to remain on top in the wrestling business.
During the same interview, Steve Austin confirmed that remaining on top in the WWE is hard. He then thanked WWE for the opportunity.
“Getting to the top is the journey. Remaining on top is really hard. Through it all, I met some great people and I’m thankful to everybody that helped me out in my career and took me under my arm and gave me some tips of wisdom and I’m thankful to WWE for the opportunity.” [H/T Fightful]
Steve Austin last competed at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens. It remains to be seen if he will ever step back in the ring again.
