Surprising RAW star will become WWE Champion by the end of 2025, says veteran; it's not CM Punk
A current WWE star has been a dominant force since his arrival on Monday Night RAW last year. A wrestling veteran recently predicted the star would end this year as a world champion.
After three successful years in NXT, Bron Breakker officially joined the main roster last year. Although he initially joined SmackDown, the second-generation superstar later moved to RAW in the 2024 WWE Draft. Since then, Breakker has been one of the fastest-rising stars on the red brand. The Dog of WWE is currently in his second reign as the Intercontinental Champion
Speaking on his The Brand podcast, wrestling veteran Vince Russo addressed Breakker's future in 2025, pointing out that he could see the latter become WWE Champion by the end of the year.
"Bron has all the tools. He's got a sh**ty name. Bron Breakker is perhaps the worst name of any wrestler I've ever heard of. What a horrible, horrible name and that name does hurt him. However, does he have all the tools? Absolutely, positively, yes. He does have the tools to be a future WWE Champion. I can actually see that happening by the end of the year, man. He is a pedigree. He is the real deal. He gets it. So, yes, I could see that happening," he said. [20:44-21:27]
Bron Breakker's WWE career to take off in 2025? Veteran predicts
On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, legendary journalist Bill Apter predicted Bron Breakker's future in 2025. He claimed the Intercontinental Champion's career will take off this year.
Apter stated that the second-generation superstar will reach new heights in 2025, pointing out that Bron is getting the needed experience.
"Bron Breakker. I think he is gonna, his career is really really gonna take off. It's at a good place now, but it's gonna be at a great place in 2025. He's getting all the experience," he said. [9:12 onwards]
It will be interesting to see if The Dog of WWE establishes himself as one of the top superstars in the Stamford-based company this year.
