Tama Tonga sends a subtle message with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline after WWE King and Queen of the Ring
WWE Superstar Tama Tonga appeared in his second overseas match with the company at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. The Bloodline member traveled to Jeddah alongside Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman for a shot at the final of the tournament on the May 24 episode of SmackDown.
This was also the first time Tama Tonga took part in a PLE where WWE partnered with Saudi Arabia. Interestingly, the freshly signed superstar cherished this moment by uploading a picture of himself on Instagram as he walked down the ramp in Jeddah.
You can check out his post below:
The Bloodline member could be seen with the faction’s acting leader Solo Sikoa with Wiseman Paul Heyman giving him a contemptual look. This upload by the 41-year-old where he is sharing a key appearance with Sikoa and Heyman is a seemingly big move for the superstar who does not say much.
Tonga is a man of few words both inside and outside the ring. Hence, a picture of this moment on tour in another country is a subtle message of how much he enjoyed his first experience in Saudi Arabia with The Bloodline and WWE.
Notably, Tama Tonga even tried to spice things up during his entrance on Friday Night SmackDown. He tried something unique when his theme song played.
Tama Tonga crawls to face Randy Orton in Jeddah
Tonga had only been seen walking down the WWE arena ramp with confident strides alongside The Bloodline. However, the 41-year-old entered the arena in Jeddah while crawling on all fours initially. He also had a scary expression on his face. But, Tonga didn’t carry this maneuver for long and crouched on the ramp before making a serious face and standing up.
The crowd didn’t seem to respond very well to the gimmick as fans got confused over what they were witnessing. A possible reason behind the strange slithering movement could be that Tonga was taunting his opponent on the night, Randy Orton, who goes by the moniker The Viper.
Tonga may have failed to land his fresh trick and win the match. However, it would be interesting to see if he gets a chance to post victory images on his social media in the upcoming WWE PLEs.
