Teddy Long is hoping to see injured 36-year-old star back in WWE by the Royal Rumble (Exclusive)
WWE Hall of Famer and former SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long shared his thoughts on a devastating injury that struck the RAW roster, stating that he hopes to see the 36-year-old star back on time for the 2025 Royal Rumble.
On The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked wrestling legends Bill Apter and Teddy Long about their thoughts on a certain superstar who is expected to be out of action for the foreseeable future. That star is none other than the 36-year-old Bronson Reed, who picked up some serious steam in the final third of 2024.
Teddy Long told Mac Davis and Bill Apter that he is hoping to see him back by Royal Rumble as he views Bronson Reed as an important member of the roster on the Road to WrestleMania 41:
"The other thing too, you want to get him ready for WrestleMania because he's going to be a big name for you at WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble." (From 01:27 to 01:33)
Bill Apter chimed in, stating that Drew McIntyre's return was reportedly fast-tracked as a result of Bronson Reed's injury:
"As of the latest taping, this is why Drew McIntyre was brought in because Bronson Reed is going to be out for a while. It's something that has to heal properly, I don't know what he has to do to get ready. What a great performer Bronson Reed is and they want to make sure he's 100% before they let him get back in the ring." (From 00:56 to 01:21)
