Teddy Long thinks 12-time champion doesn't want to wrestle full-time in WWE again (Exclusive)
WWE Hall of Famer and ex-SmackDown general manager Teddy Long is unsure whether a 12-time champion will ever wrestle full-time again. He recently discussed the said star's potential future.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked veteran Bill Apter and Teddy Long about The New Day's 10-year anniversary segment and their thoughts on the stunning heel turns of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Big E, a 12-time champion, whose in-ring future is uncertain due to his neck injury, was told by his now-former New Day stablemates on RAW that he would never be medically cleared.
Even if E is cleared to compete, Teddy Long told Mac Davis and Bill Apter that he doesn't think the powerhouse wants to wrestle full-time anymore.
"I wouldn't doubt it - there's a good little story there with Kofi & Xavier. He could start with Xavier and get that win over him. Then comes Kofi right there, and drops him. Now, Xavier comes up and they both beat him to death, man. I don't think he wants to do full-time anymore but then you could take Big E and get him a mystery partner and have a tag team. Now you have Big E going up against his old team." (7:50-8:25)

Teddy Long thinks there's a new feud for Roman Reigns on RAW that makes sense
Many fans will be happy to see Roman Reigns featured on RAW for two reasons. Firstly, he has been a SmackDown mainstay for five years now. Secondly, some are looking forward to seeing the post-Bloodline era for the OTC.
On a previous episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long expressed his interest in a program between Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker, with the story being about the iconic "spear".
"Well, I don't think they're taking it away from him, you know what I mean? I agree with you. Too many people are using the spear, but that may be something that leads to that, you know what I mean? With all those guys. Breakker can always say that they took his move. You can put it in a storyline." [8:09 – 8:28]
If Roman Reigns does indeed move to RAW as part of the Netflix deal (It's unknown whether he will as of this writing), a post-Bloodline story and feud against Bron Breakker would be a huge. It could cement the nephew of Scott Steiner as a bona fide main event star.
