"That is so third-grade level" - WWE veteran tears apart Sami Zayn-Gunther segment on RAW (Exclusive)

Sami Zayn and Gunther once again came face-to-face on WWE RAW as The Ring General finally accepted the former's challenge. However, wrestling veteran Vince Russo was not impressed with how things played out between the two.

Sami Zayn has been chasing the World Heavyweight Championship for the last few weeks but the Austrian star refused to accept his challenge every time. However, things took a personal turn between the two on WWE RAW last night as Zayn mentioned to Gunther that he has proved to his father that he was a coward. This led to the champion losing his temper and accepting Sami's challenge.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo stated that the direction of the storyline is third-grade level.

"My favorite segment (sarcastically). Remember Jerry Maguire? What was the infamous line? ‘You had me at hello.’ I swear to god bro, I was just waiting for Gunther to turn around to Sami and say, ‘You had me at coward.’ That got Gunther in the match. He called him a coward and that’s it. The C word bro. I cannot imagine myself sitting at this computer and writing that line. I can’t imagine. That is so third-grade level, it’s not even funny." Sami Zayn and the Ring General will face off for the World Heavyweight Championship next week on WWE RAW. The champion also laid out the former Bloodline member on the red brand last night before accepting his challenge.
