"The other guys just kinda look like wrestlers" - Wrestling legend names the coolest members of The Wyatt SicksĀ
Wrestling veteran Konnan recently spoke about how The Wyatt Sicks angle was helping WWE. The faction is feuding with American Made on RAW.
Last week on the red brand, The Wyatt took on Chad Gable and his team in a vicious Street Fight to kick off the show. The match was brutal, with both factions hitting each other with any objects they could find. In the match's final moments, Uncle Howdy turned the tide for his team, hitting Sister Abigail. Dexter Lumis then planted one of the Creed Brothers with an aerial attack for the win.
During Keepin' IT 100, Konnan mentioned that Howdy reminded him of Bray Wyatt watching the action from his rocking chair. The veteran pointed out that Uncle Howdy and Nikki Cross were the coolest faction members, while the others looked like generic wrestlers.
"So it's pretty cool. You had Uncle Howdy watching from the rocking chair like Bray Wyatt used to do. I think Nikki and Howdy look the coolest because they have masks on. The other guys just kinda look like wrestlers. One guy's got dreads; the other guy, Rowan, what does he have?"
The wrestling legend felt the creative team could do more with the Wyatt Sicks members to make them appear more frightening.
"I kinda wish they would have something like a mask or something that would make them look freakier and eerier. Maybe even a lighting or bring down the lighting. Not really dark where you can't see anything like they do in their entrance, but maybe like a cool lighting just to give it an eerie effect," Konnan noted. [From 6:00 - 6:44]
Konnan mentioned the Wyatt Sicks had a great match
During the same conversation, the veteran pointed out that the Street Fight had some of the best spots of the whole show. He felt the match was physical, and the two teams put it all out in the ring.
"Best spot of the night. They were very, very physical. They did a lot of creative spots. I liked the match. I liked that the heels were dressed in T-shirts and jeans to give it the Street Fight thing. I loved that Rowan using the barricade as a weapon. That was very original," Konnan said. Konnan also praised Wyatt Sicks member Eric Rowan for creatively using the ring barricade as a battering ram. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Wyatt Sicks on Monday Night RAW.
