The Judgment Day is different from former faction, WWE star says

The Judgment Day began with WWE Hall of Famer Edge acting as the patriarch, who now goes by his real name, Adam Copeland, in AEW. The original formation was Copeland, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley. Then Finn Bálor was recruited on the same night The Rated-R Superstar was booted out. Later on, Dominik Mysterio joined.

This formation drastically changed in 2024 after Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were betrayed at SummerSlam. Presently, the formation is Finn Bálor, 'Dirty' Dom, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh, and Carlito. Morgan was recently asked about the difference between The Judgment Day and her previous group, The Riott Squad.

In an interview with The Ringer Wrestling Show, Liv Morgan reflected on her run with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan as The Riott Squad. She stated that both teams are poles apart, labeling her all-female group "sisterhood," and moreover, she has matured so much since then. The Riott Squad was a trio on WWE TV from 2017 to 2019.

"So different. Riott Squad was an all-female faction. We created chaos, but in a different way. We were cutting people's ties. Throwing ketchup on doors. I don't know what we were doing. It's like, the joke's on us guys," Morgan recounted. "Now The Judgment Day, we are still causing chaos, but in a much more mean and intentional and grown up way. I'm just not that little girl anymore." [From 58:46 onwards]

The Miracle Kid further noted that she has grown significantly as a performer, which is evident in her on-screen persona. As of this writing, Morgan will likely walk out of 2024 as the Women's World Champion, having won the belt back in May.

The Judgment Day holds multiple belts on WWE RAW

After being named the 'Faction of the Year' in 2023 with the previous formation, in which all members were champions at one point, The Judgment Day has grown in number.

Despite this, Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh continue to be in possession of the World Tag Team Championship on RAW, and Liv Morgan is the Women's World Champion. Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio has been showing signs of going after the World Heavyweight Title. Former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio believes 'Dirty' Dom could very well win the belt as early as 2025.
