The Judgment Day to turn on major member after massive defeat at WWE SummerSlam, predicts analyst
The Judgment Day has been a dominant faction on WWE RAW over the past two years. However, an analyst in the promotion believes the group will turn on one of its members after the latter suffers a massive loss at SummerSlam.
The Judgment Day member in question is the World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. The Archer of Infamy retained his title at Money in the Bank last Saturday. He will now defend the championship against Gunther at SummerSlam. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, analyst Sam Roberts predicted that Priest would lose to the King of the Ring.
The 40-year-old also believes The Judgment Day would turn on Priest following his potential defeat against The Ring General at The Biggest Party of The Summer:
"I think that Damian Priest will lose the title at SummerSlam to Gunther. And I think once Damian Priest loses the title to Gunther, that's when The Judgment Day turns on him," he said. [From 18:21 to 18:35]
Damian Priest is a polite champion in WWE, says veteran
On Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, veteran journalist Bill Apter discussed Damian Priest's World Heavyweight Championship reign. He disclosed that he likes the 41-year-old's character.
Apter dubbed The Judgment Day member a "polite world champion," pointing out that he brings an "aura of World Champion" to the title:
"Damian Priest is so, such a polite world champion. He is actually, when I am looking at him, he is bringing an aura of World Champion to that belt. I love how he doesn't go crazy, and he is not yelling and screaming you know about the championship and all this. He is very cool and mature... I like what his character is, is that he is reasonable, he is polite and he is just holds that World Championship like a champion." [From 36:12 onwards]
Priest has been holding the World Heavyweight Championship since WWE WrestleMania XL. It would be interesting to see if he can overcome Gunther at SummerSlam to extend his title reign.
