"The Martin Scorsese" - Cody Rhodes credits top Bloodline member, not Roman Reigns, for the success of The Tribal Chief storyline in WWE
Cody Rhodes had nothing but praise for the mind behind the success of The Bloodline storyline, including the current Battle for The Tribal Chief status between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Rhodes credited Paul Heyman for keeping the story interesting even though it's been going on for four years and counting.
Despite finishing his story at WrestleMania 40, The American Nightmare still got dragged into The Bloodline recently. Rhodes teamed up with Reigns to beat Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. The Rock also returned, staring at both Rhodes and Reigns to end the show.
In an interview for WACH FOX, the Undisputed WWE Champion was asked about the secret behind the success of The Bloodline storyline. Rhodes admitted that the storyline is the brainchild of Heyman, calling him "Martin Scorsese" of the wrestling masterpiece.
"From kind of the more behind the curtain aspect that when it's all said and done, and people look at how unbelievable that story has been over the years and what it's done for WWE and WWE's business, Mr. Heyman. Mr Paul Heyman should probably be considered kind of the Martin Scorsese behind it all. He's really a fascinating, unique individual, and has a sense of what the audience may want and they don't even know they want it. Just super genius," Rhodes said. [From 03:25 to 03:52]

Paul Heyman has been off WWE television since being brutally attacked by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline at the end of June.
Cody Rhodes takes a shot at The Rock
In the same interview with WACH FOX, Cody Rhodes took a shot at The Rock for trying to get the credit for WWE's all-time high popularity. Rhodes knows that it's a collective effort and not just because of one superstar.
"I've been telling everyone on the crew like I hope you're enjoying this 'cause filling up these places ain't easy and to have everyone be on board with WWE. Now, Rock will tell you he made it cool again. So if he comes in here just, 'Sure, Rock. Yeah, whatever,'" Rhodes said.
It's been teased after WrestleMania 40 that The Rock is coming for Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship. However, it's unclear if it will happen at next year's WrestleMania or even if it will involve Roman Reigns.
